This flower makes you take notice by the large size. Upon closer examination, the lavender eye is banded by dark purple and the color pattern repeats on the edge with the addition of a large cream edge that often has teeth. The edge is quite large but the flower tends to roll back the edges. This makes for good opening but hides the triple edge. Dormant plant habit, good branching, and fertile pollen makes this an outstanding daylily.
