Once and For All
Seedling 310-5 – 29â€, 5.5â€, EM, Dormant, Tetraploid, 3 branches, 17 buds
((Cast Your Crown x Rocks Cry Out) x Red Friday) x Pinewood Consuming Fire
Pinewood Consuming Fire has been an outstanding introduction for us. A 2015 introduction, it was sold out early and remains so. While the flower is great, the plant is a not as vigorous as we prefer due to the genetic background of Forestlake Ragamuffin which also displays weak plants. Once and For All is an improvement with vigorous foliage and good increase. The flowers are deep red with virtually no blemishes. The flowers open slowly with full open at 8 or 9 am. With the slow opening, the flowers look good late in the day. The large and dramatic edge is the standout feature and this flower grabs attention when blooming in the garden. Fertile both ways, this is a great breeder for big toothy edges and clear red colors.
