Ransom for Many is a fancy, dormant flower that performs well in all phases.  The flowers have a large triple edge featuring dark purple surrounded by lavender and a toothy cream edge.  The eye if variable with some flowers having a nearly solid eye while other flowers have a distinct band of dark purple around lavender.  The complex breeding includes many southern evergreens but Ransom for Many is a hardy dormant plant here yet contains numerous recent tetraploid conversions that make this a powerhouse breeding plant.  Fertile both ways, expect Ransom for Many to be a showy garden plant and excellent tool for hybridizing.
